Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

On January 18, 2010, several members of Dragon’s Cauldron teamed up with other volunteers to support SEEDS for the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service.  The service project was included as part of many organized by the Triangle United Way.

Many hands made light work of laying the beds for what will become a vegetable garden, with its paths tracing the ancient earth pattern of a labyrinth.  At a break time, our member, Wren, had an opportunity to give everyone a quick lesson in labyrinths.  After, many participants chose to walk the labyrinth before resuming work.

Thanks go to Beth Owl and Jen Turtle for their photos of the event.
